Q & A Time

1) How Did You Get Started?
A: Believe it or not, TechCom has been in service in one regard or another since April 2006. That year, I, JustinMullins, had just found himself surrounded by zombies in the Grigg Heights suburb. I was a cop who had been left behind. Over time, a destined meeting between myself and another user named LadyAG occurred. For a time, we took care of the NT Lab in the suburb. Eventually, TechCom was founded.

2) Wait, TechCom was founded in 2006? And you only have one member? Don't you think it's time to give up?
A: At one point, membership was going great. Unfortunately, over time most, if not all, members left the game. For some reason, getting others to join has not been going well.

3) Well, what are the perks of being a member?
You get to be revived first in case of death. You get healed first. You'll always have people at your back. And oh, you get to kill zombies, PKers, RKers, and GKers.

4) What is TechCom's goal?
Our top goal at the moment is to keep the Coram Building up and running and to help out the survivor group CORAM. Of course that is never the only goal. For example, at the moment, we are in the process of helping the group who operate out of the Preston Arms with a mission I am not at liberty to discuss further. Just recently TechCom reclaimed a ruined police department for people to take ammo and remove into.

5) Where Do You Reside?
TechCom currently resides in Grigg Heights. At the moment, I can not be more specific than our current suburb. That information is reserved for members.

6) So're telling me if I joined, all I'd do is protect a radio?
: No! When enough members are gathered, if it fancies your folly, I hope to form task forces to kill PKers and help service the nearby RP. Just for example.

TechCom has a dedicated radio frequency located at 26.33. If you are in the Grigg Heights area, feel free to tune in. If you wish to contact us in-game, this is the way to do it.

  2. Combat revives
  3. Reviving zombies randomly outside of designated revive points that are not known friendly group members, both in ours and others

Our On Going Mission

August 20, 2010: It brings me great sadness to say but as of today, TechCom is officially disbanded. It was a fun four years guys and I'd like to thank all of those people who my group's path crossed and especially all former members, such as LadyAG who helped in cofounding the group all of four years ago. Perhaps I will someday bring the group back. But for now, I will go on, but the TechCom name will not. Over and out *radio crackles*
February 20: TechCom has moved into the lower section of Grigg Heights. Reviving the zombies awaiting at the nearby RP is underway.
February 19: TechCom has currently moved back to its birth suburb, Grigg Heights to help an allied group in its mission. TechCom repaired several surrounding buildings.
February 16: One zombie broke into The Coram Building. TechCom managed to kill it off and dump the body outside. Barricades were rebuilt.
February 7: The defense of [the Coram Building The Coram Building] has been going well as TechCom and the aptly named group CORAM hold the building. TechCom is in the process of bringing some much needed healing to the survivors.
January 29: A police department near Preston Arms has been repaired and 'caded. Ammo has been gathered by TechCom and another group for a certain important and upcoming mission.
January 25: As of yesterday's check, the Coram Building has been ruined. TechCom is currently residing in a bar until hopefully more members can be recruited and the building can be reclaimed.
