Really going to pick your brain...

I've recently redone my groups recruit page. I have multiple sections, which can be edited. I don't want them edited. I add the __NOEDIT__ code to each section. The edit buttons go away. ----> Recrutment page no longer has edit buttons.... Take away the code, and they come back. Add the code back to my recruitment page... and try the <noinclude> and </noinclude> tags,... The edit buttons dissapear on my groups recruit subpage, all the edit buttons come back on the recruitment page,... and then if you look at my advertisment, the edit buttons are there,... but not on the groups recruit subpage. How odd? -Poodle of DoomM! Fear is only as deep as the mind will allow it be.T 04:27, 15 April 2010 (BST)

Looks like you figured it out. That was exactly what I was going to suggest, since you're not allowed to have headers in your recruitment ads. Also, your ad is actually too tall. Mind shrinking it a bit? 800px is the maximum height. Aichon 05:44, 15 April 2010 (BST)
Is there an easy way of figuring out the height of a table? We're coming to get you, Barbara 05:50, 15 April 2010 (BST)
In my browser there is. If you're using Chrome or Safari, just right click on the table, select Inspect Element, then click on the part of the code that corresponds to the table, and on the right side, click it so that it shows the information for Computed Style. It'll show you the actual height of the element in the browser. I think there's something similar in Firefox, but probably not that advanced, and you probably need an extension or two, I'd guess. You, sir, are granted permission to bolster the ranks of my fine "group", and are deemed to be an amiable person. Thanks! --Spiderzed 15:22, 16 April 2010 (BST)

Thanks

.. For the warning. I keep mixing the rules of different places up. Infrastructure 16:07, 16 April 2010 (BST)

DHLA Help

So you left a comment and I'm responding. Could you show me this? --Vlace 00:58, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Yeah, something to show who we are, what we do, a chat for the group, that kinda thing. --Vlace 01:05, 17 April 2010 (BST)vlace

Thanks, alot.

How do you get an image for the group up? --Vlace 13:11, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Thanks again --Vlace 13:43, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Can you tell me how to add the group to the listing? (Like I know, but there are some things that are escaping my grasp.) --Vlace 14:03, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Alright cool deal. Thanks so much --Vlace 14:21, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Could we get it so that people could get from my user page to the army page from like a link or something? --Vlace 14:33, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Could we get the Dunell Hills map on to the army page? --Vlace 14:58, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Never mind, got it. Thanks. --Vlace 17:50, 17 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

At first it was a little confusing but then i got the hang of it. Does it have to have the colors underneath the key? --Vlace 02:00, 18 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

alright. could you do that? and notice that those colors are the ones i want in my key. im just wondering if i can get rid of the Template:Mismaplear and stuff like that --Vlace 02:21, 18 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Great! This is amazing. Thanks so much --Vlace 02:45, 18 April 2010 (BST)Vlace

Newbie

I know the Welcome Newbie page referred me to Project Mentor and or Project Welcome, but in going through that I noticed that at least one of those users claims to be inactive. Any recommendations on someone to show me the ropes and/or where I can help out, so I don't have to figure it all out on my own? --Austin hunt 03:23, 18 April 2010 (BST)
