28.52

hello we dead dudes have been using 28.52 for well over a year now and we were down on the wiki as claiming 28.52 now its been claimed by a noob station.whats going on all of lamport use it its important for us lamportians --Dikki 18:55, 27 September 2008 (BST)

Newbie combat channel has been at 28.52 since at least November 2007. And you have a Great Suburb Group Massacre group-inactive template on your discussion page. I personally have no problem with you snagging 28.52 for yourselves if you are indeed active and want that freq -- just format your listing properly. Thanks. Asheets 16:24, 29 September 2008 (BST)

28.27

Is it ok if The Boondock Saints claim 28.27 Mhz? Mercinus3 18:24, 13 June 2008 (BST)

Looks good to me. Have fun with it. Asheets 18:29, 16 June 2008 (BST)

26.99

Even though we in the Upper Left Corner have used 26.99 as our Official Radio frequency since the beginning of the resurge in radio programming popularity in the urban city, the frequency has been erroneously marked "available". I have corrected this grave error and I do hope that it does not repeat itself.

Incorrect Edit Comment

Sorry, my edit comment blamed the wrong person for deleting our signal. I incorrectly thought that the date when the template was added was the date our frequency was removed. Was actually this article's Revision as of 16:25, 26 November 2007 by Asheets. -- Rutherford 20:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Xkcd

Is it ok if we bag 26.42 Mhz for xkcd? We don't have a transmitter yet, but I'm working on it. No-genius 17:14, 8 December 2007 (UTC) Wait, make that 28.42. Although we won't use it until we get more members.

26.35 MHz -

This frequency was used by B.E.S.T. before but since we created an forum we decided to stop using it. So it´s from now on avalible. Feel free to use it! --FreddeX 23:25, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

I would like to request that "4chan Radio (aka "the spam channel") be removed from the list. It is completely counter-productive to all gameplay and leaves one less radio station open for use by those who need it. I feel that spammers should not be given ANY access to the radio or to in-game chat at any time. Giving them their own radio station promotes the use of spam in a game where communication is, in some cases, synonymous with one's survival. If "4channers" want to be complete retards, they can do so outside of the game on their OWN forums -- Chekken 04:09, 8 August 2009 (BST)

Or... It creates a haven for spammers where they can spam all day. This reduces the amount of spam on useful channels. Its like a wall that was put up just for graffiti to stop people from vandalizing other things. SilverMemoryPKMPR 04:28, 8 August 2009 (BST)
It is a traditional channel in this game, and should be marked as such. Asheets 00:14, 9 August 2009 (BST)

28.89

POLNGOAK took it. We needed a frequency and it was at the end of the list and out of the way. Hope nobody minds.--Justinbronze 15:49, 29 August 2010 (BST)

You probably should have used 28.02 instead, since it is a temporary events channel. Asheets 18:20, 29 August 2010 (BST)
This may not stay a permanent event. It may turn into a as-long-as-it-lasts sorta thing, or maybe a once a year thing.--Justinbronze 20:27, 29 August 2010 (BST)

Right, where do you stand in regards to private frequencies?
I've always used this one as my own, but since I'm not a group, I don't claim it.
Seeing as there are so many available frequencies, and communicating with them is far simpler and more certain then with mobile phones, if it's possible I'd like this one more officially reserved, until a group wants it.

Who do you communicate with using it? If there's a group of people that use it with you, then you technically have a group, even if it's not an official in-game group, and you can reserve it as such, so long as you can link to a wiki page for this "group". If you really do just use it for yourself, however, and other people occasionally hop on it but aren't consistent participants on the channel, I'd say you don't have a case for reserving it. The Radio page says that "Group maintainers are free to list their radio frequency in the list below," but makes no provisions for individuals, so while I think that "squatting" on the frequency is just fine, claiming it as an individual would not be. Hm, yes, I though as much.D4rkH4wk
