Description
Surrounded by two banks, a museum and a hospital, this boulevard was a busy place for people of a certain standing. The neighboring Linnett Museum, which is renowned for its collection of abstract paintings, often played host to the wives of banking managers and men of business, while waiting for their husbands.
History
The boulevard was commissioned by the city in 1953 and was named after Arnold Abney, President of the Board at the Linnett Museum.
