Since forming in 2006, the Knights Templar have been defending Kempsterbank from the zombie masses, keeping it one of the most consistently safe suburbs in Malton.
We are glad to revive and heal anyone who asks. We work side by side with the local civilians, and we proudly stand with our allies against any zombie threat.
We focus on strategy and teamwork within our ranks. Operations large and small, near and far, are always being planned and executed. If you really want to play Urban Dead, we're the group for you.
A detailed history of our group can be found here.
How to join the Knights Templar
|
Joining is simple! Look for any of our members inside the Whitenoll building or the surrounding area, and they can help you out from there. Or, you can just cut right to the chase and visit our forum to be a part of our illustrious group!
We can also be reached on Facebook and
Twitter
The Knights Templar is divided into two groups by function. Upon completion of your time in the Grasshoppers Guild, you'll be asked to choose which specialist group you would like to take part in.
The Order of the Archangel Michael (OAM)
The OAM team patrols Kempsterbank and peripheral territories, runs strikes on known zed hangouts, and generally protects K-Bank from hostile forces within our borders. This is probably the group for you if you like to play at your own pace and work a little more independently.
Cleansing Fire of St. Charles (CFSC)
This is the elite, highly mobile fighting force of the Knights Templar. CFSC operates wherever help is needed in Malton. This team consists of our most experienced and trustworthy Knights.
We run revive points at Ebbutt Road (57,76) and Ware Walk (51,74) in Kempsterbank.
OAM
June 24 - In the aftermath of the Fourth Big Bash striking through Kempsterbank and surrounding suburbs, the OAM, with the help of the CFSC, the Boardsies, and other local survivors, have rebuilt Kempsterbank and it can be said that the suburb is now the greenest it may have been for a year. With the SFHNAS mostly AWOL from St. Ferreol's Hospital, buildings around the Shackleville border have instead been broken into by a feral or two, but the suburb is mostly clear for the time being.
CFSC
August 14 - A recruitment drive is geared primarily in the Northeast and Southeast areas of Malton, mostly through reclamation, good FAKings, and shameless graffiti. Care was taken not to spray over other group's tags.
July 15 - The reclamation of Heytown, Peppardville, Spracklingbank, and Pegton begins, from 7 AP repairs, to 25 AP restoration of dark buildings.
July 10 - The main and second wave, however, is insufficiently defended against, mostly due to a lack of real-time coordination on the survivor 'side'. Still, that was quite the adrenaline rush!
July 9 - The first wave brought about by Big Bash 4 is cleared successfully.
July 2 - The Malton Resistance, in collaboration with other groups, such as the Boardsies, Creedy Defense Force, and Dunell Hills Police Department is in its infancy and planning stages. Representatives from the respective groups begin to move to The Usher Building in Heytown. Other participating groups include the Army Control Corps, Malton Civil Defense Unit, and a few other unaffiliated survivors joined in the cause to provide a resistance against the hordes of Big Bash 4, mainly for fun.
June 30 - The Achievements Tour has officially ended, with the CFSC taking a breather from the long treks. That was a great pilgrimage to Malton's cathedrals, and photo-ops by Fort Creedy and Fort Perryn.
