Journal

Day 28

When traveling through the suburb of Shore Hills, I came across Butson Boulevard School. Just as its neighbouring auto repair shop it was opened up and ransacked by the zed-forces. Harsh and cruel groans came closer. 'Damn, they've scent me'. Quickly I pushed a desk in front of the door, unabling it to open the normal way. 'Time to go' I tore the blank pages out some of the books, grabed a pencil and headed towards the first floor. I opened the window in the front side of the building. Clegg Cinema was only on the other side of the road and baricaded heavily. Downstairs the zombies kept banging on the doors; I heard wood breaking. I steped back, took a run and leaped out of the window. I landed and rolled on the flat roof of the cinema. 'Here I'll be safe for a while'.

I took paper and pencil and started writing. This is how my story started.

Day 29

After a nice nighttime sleep, which I hadn't got for two days, I woke up, swung the belt of my shoulderbag over my head and checked the weight of its contents. 'It gets lighter. I need to restock soon.' I stretched my back and looked around the streets of the neighbourhood. The zeds of the night before had left. I zipped open my bag and took out the map. It was a simple map, one the tourist information whould have given you if you wanted to sightsee the city. 'These days it's better to stay home.' But this one has had some edits. Pencil lines and context were writen at some of the buildings and area's. 'Closest NT is to the south, the Pittman Building.' I started running and took a big leap onto the next building. Moving south.

Day 33

'Didn't have the time to write my journal the last days, too busy traveling. The Necro-tech guys at Pittman were very gentle and gave me a dozen of syringes. After Pittman I traveled further south. Found some FAK's at the extremely heavily baricaded St. Johns Hospital. My mobile phone bleeped. My friends from (To The) Four Winds planned moving again. They'll probably go west, towards the zombie-infested suburb of Stanbury Village. I was fully packed, so I went to Stanbury. It took me about 3/4 of a day getting there. Searched around Nichols Mall, only found a newspaper. I broke my own rule to never sleep in resource buildings and took a nap on a steel bench in the south east wing of the mall.'

Day 35

'This is why you shouldn't sleep inside resource buildings, when you get up, you'll find yourself zombified. It happened to me again. Now need to walk back two suburbs to the Winds RP. I hope they can help me again, did a wonderfull job last time.' The sick feeling of getting zombified raged through my head. 'Ow, I hate this' I bend to the front and trow up. 'Ah, even thinking is bad for your health in this state.'
