Discussion

you kidding?

You kidding? This doesn't deserve to be called "the fourth siege of caiger". It wasn't even a siege, there was like 6 zombies in each corner. When was the last time a battle, involving less than 20 zombies in each corner, was given a whole article for itself? Reserve the "sieges" for things involves people amounting in the hundreds, not the dozens. Cat go meow 06:58, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Are you kidding? Were you there? Or are you just one of those people who pretends to be involved when really you were no where to be seen? Or are you just a pro-zed person upset that you couldnt hold Caiger? Anyway seeing as how it was claimed that humans would never again hold Caiger we launched a seige. Guess who's there now.Cisisero 07:21, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
she sounds like a well known wiki vandal, goes by the name 3page, ignore it -- boxy T L PA DA 07:26, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Um, I could care less who hold caiger, I just think the name of "fourth siege of caiger" should go to a battle that involves people in the hundreds. Yes, the retaking of caiger was important, but your info given is just a history of what happens between now and then, on a scale of people it wasn't like a massive battle (unlike the other sieges witch involved many many people). And I resent your accusations Boxy (although I'm not sure how you guessed my gender, don't remember metioning it anywhere here). Cat go meow 07:32, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Consider it ignored boxy. TY for the headsup. nozzer 07:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Cat go meow, this siege though not as large scale as previous seiges, probably because of the survivors tight coordination, does still deserved to be noted... because it was a successful survivor orchestrated siege of a well guarded mall... discussion about the validity of this article should not begin here at least until revision one is released in january, this for the authors to contribute and brainstorm. --Marty Banks (aka. Mundane) <DHPD> 08:25, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
No, my point more was that it should not be called a siege, something different like a battle (or massacre) because by prety much by definition sieges are things that last along time, this didn't, it was concluded in very little time by comparrasin. Cat go meow 18:06, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
A siege is by definition... a battle to either take and occupy or destroy a structure... whether it took a long time to achieve or not is a mute point... it definitely did not happen overnight... there were months of planning and days of fighting, in fact the battle is still going on so thats why the article has not yet been posted or linked to. Oh and I forgot to mention there are (and were) WAY, WAHAHAYYYY!!! more than six zombies (per corner) defending the mall... --Marty Banks (aka. Mundane) <DHPD> 19:09, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Contributions

Feel free to use this, It is a list of the events that occured, but from the DHPD vantage point.

The 4th siege of Caiger. – The Human Assault

December 12- Scouting reports running inside of Caiger revealed that the zombie presence had dropped to an all time low, with less than 60 zombies inside the four square block of the mall
December 15- DHPD and Malton Rangers forces move into striking positions of the mall and begin harassing zombie targets in the LLC of the mall
December 16-Attacks on the mall intensify with DHPD and Malton Rangers forces clearing out the LLC of the mall. Later that day, with the assistance of various CMS factions the ULC of the mall is also barricaded and in survivor control. After receiving word of the survivor incursion, many feral’s, including mass amounts of RRF zombies, roll into Caiger and put a halt to any further survivor attacks on the mall. Many survivor safe houses near the mall were also raided and destroyed.
December 17-After recovering in fallback positions, Members of the DHPD, Maltons Rangers, CMS and other groups begin building up a stronger survivor presence for the next attack on Caiger.
December 20-Survivor numbers in the Chudleyton are continue to rise at an unparalleled rate by the zombie forces. Zombie incursions into the area are few and infrequent, as the zombies stay close to Caiger. Several NT's in the suburb also come online at this time.
December 23-The DHPD and several allied groups prematurely launch Operation: Homecoming Queen, after it was realized that zombie numbers inside the mall were lower than 50. Allied strikes against the mall clear 3 of the 4 corners immediately.
December 24-An all out assault was launched upon the mall today, Many lives were lost in the process, but Caiger is once again a symbol of hope for humanity. Survivor forces occupy all four corners of the mall and all zombie forces have been pushed out.
