Telescope

Hi Jon - how about this for an idea for your telescope. The user can see in all directions, but never the squares right next to them - only distant ones:

Wow, that's nice! But it's probably too powerful. It would nerf binoculars too. In fact, the only reason to keep binoculars at all would be that you can take them with you and in case the telescope keeps getting destroyed. --Uncle Bill 00:33, 13 April 2007 (BST)

I put a new suggestion up already, with telescopes revealing a single distant square. I like this system too though, it's a good way of differentiating between binoculars (close magnification) and telescopes (far). --Jon Pyre 05:39, 13 April 2007 (BST)
