wow

You're quite the author. --Cap'n Silly T/W/P/CAussieflag.JPG 23:49, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I am working on another story now, CO-authoring it, so Part 2 will go unfinished for a while.--Cpl attari 00:04, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Damn straight you're "co-authoring" it!--Lachryma 00:07, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Lmao...yeah, thx for the input.

Cpl attari 00:10, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey!

You have a journal called Jack Cooper...that's fine and all, but journals need to have 'Journal:' on 'em. So, you need to move your journal to Journal:Jack Cooper, otherwise people might get confused.--Lachryma 03:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

huh?

What now? It says it is in the journals category. Sorry, just new to this whole thing. (I suck at HTML kinda stuff) Plus alot of the direction on this site aren't idiot friendly. I barely got my story posted.

Cpl attari

Yeah, the wiki isn't very newbie friendly...A category is one thing. But the actual name of the page also matters. So if I make a page called I hate fools, that'd be bad. But if I make a page called User:Lachryma/I hate fools, that'd be okay. The first one is in the main namespace, so it's like the whole wiki's opinion. But the second one is clearly my opinion, and not related to the wiki as a whole. So, you need 'Journal:' or 'User:Cpl attari/' in front of your own stuff. Get it? Also, you should sign your posts with the button 1 from the right, at the top of the editing window. Hell, have a template:

And if you have any questions, let me know on my talk page!--Lachryma 00:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you.

Okay cool. I fixed the journal thing. I just transfered it to a new page with the proper name.

The template confused me, it told me to put the title of the journal without the word "journal" in it. I assume my story is okay since you didn't comment about it. Thank you again for the help. I think I have it now.

(Prays)

Please excuse me in advance for the following rant: Sign your fething posts with this button: Button sig.png or the Old Gods of the Wiki will eat your soul! Anyway, I haven't looked at your journal, but I promise too! I love zombie fiction...And you are referring to the Malton Chronicles template? Yeah, that project's kinda dead, so...the whole Journal thing isn't that big of a deal, but it's a good first step to becoming good at wiki stuff. And yes, I do think you have it now.--Lachryma 04:03, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, read your journal...ever read World War Z? That has African Rabies...anyway, I thought it was really good (I wasn't so impressed about the typos, but I imagine they are intentional) but I didn't like the cheap ending. It was a cop out, and how the hell does a dead guy what happens next? I'd just remove that last part, for a touch of suspense. Other than that though, I thought it was very engrossing.--Lachryma 04:13, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Well it kind of all ties in with my two current stories you know? Jack's diary is supposed to explain what had been happening with him earlier on before My character Ian sees him die and yes I have read World War Z. Max Brooks is a genius. I also enjoyed the Zombie Survival guide and believe it or not) Created a local Zombie Hunting Chapter. (Organize Before they rise) I was disapointed to realize that most of the fiction in the chronicles is no good. I wish Kevan would do somethign to revive it. And also, I was sort of dissapointed that the Journal I wrote for jack had to end liek that. I want to write a similar story but the one I have in mind has nothing to do with Malton so I don't think it would be appropirate you know?
Also, do you write any zombie fiction? I would be interested to hear it. Oh and as for the typos, I tpye like I talk, too fast! so i usualy have a TON of typos and usualy spend a while fixing them all. But for the journal i didn't feel it would be so important. I guess I should fix them up though. I appreciate all the input you have given.--Cpl attari 04:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

You created a local Zombie Hunting Chapter?! Did you buy some land in Alaska too? Anyway, I loved WWZ (especially the Russian parts!) and I've read it, like, 3 times. And I don't think Kevan ran the chronicles, it's just fan based stuff. I also think non-Malton fiction wouldn't really fit in around here...which is too bad. I wrote/am writing a story set in France about a guy trapped in a city full of zeds...he can't get out, as the military is shelling the outskirts of the city...But it's not set in Malton, so you won't see it on this wiki. My only zombie genre stuff is on my page...it's interviews like in WWZ. If you'd like, I could fix up your typos in your journal...Oh, and if you want to read another really good diary on this wiki, let me know and I'll give you the links.--Lachryma 04:54, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

That would be awesome. You should give me those links. And actually, i am going to buy land in Iadaho, as far from ppl as I can get lol. Cool, you should email me your story. I hae another one, but it is based in a more Dawn of the Dead settign and i don't like it as much. And those Journals would be great. GO ahead and fix the typos if you choose.
Also, this would probably be much faster if we communicated over email. (It's on my user page)Cpl attari 04:58, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, we'll talk that way then.--Lachryma 05:12, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Okay, here's the link. Enjoy! Oh, and when he mentions 'The Czarina', that's me. He gave me that nickname!--Lachryma 05:33, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Glad you liked it. Jon put a lot of time into that diary. Anyway, the story has begun, right here: User:Lachryma/Fiction...we need a title though.--Lachryma 05:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
