None of these rules are set in stone yet, so if you're hesitant, worried, turned-off, perplexed, bemused, contemptuous, or plain offended by any of them, here's your place to say why. Any rants should be followed by suggestions for a better alternative, if at all possible. Thanks.

Uniforms

OK, I'll kick off the debate, and the page format, with a rethink of sorts. On re-reading this section, I reckon there might be too many outfits: we'd end up spending half our time running around searching for clothes to play dress-up. Perhaps all uniforms except the ceremonial parade dress should be more clearly spelled out as merely suggestions. However I reckon the ban on ballgowns and so on should remain, firstly in order to keep some semblance of a theme to the group, and secondly 'cause I like the way it reads. --Dan Everyman 15:34, 10 September 2007 (BST)

Parades

Main thing we need here is to get one of the G.I.F.D. guys to agree to perform dress inspections. It sounds like a pain, I know, but the rigmarole would add to the sense of occasion when we finally hit the pub. --Dan Everyman 15:34, 10 September 2007 (BST)
