Chenery Cinema (Shearbank)
In the 1970s Chenery Cinema courted controversy when its screening of Come Play With Me was attended by its star Mary Millington. Over 87 fans of Soft-core British smut got over excited and constables had to be summoned. The cinema was shut down a few days later by order of the local council.
In 2008 the cinema was bought by a group of like minded souls designed to only show Rowdy Herrington's 1989 classic ROAD HOUSE. The film runs on a constant loop which possibly explains why both zombies and survivors tend toward smashing the gaff up on a regualr basis.
