'''February 13th, 2007'''; I found a blank journal today. I have always thought about keeping one but just never seemed to be able to find one. I am going to tell you (who ever it is that finds this) about my past life. I was a firefighter in the MFD and it was a pretty good job. It got dangerous occasionally but what doesn't. Ok...accounting. When this mess started up about two years ago my life got shot to hell. I have been fighting for my life for so long. Sometimes you just get tired of it. I was stationed in Pitneybank and I stayed there until about four days ago. The fort and Giddings Mall seemed like good places to hide out, but they attract to much attention. I heard about a Survivor Security Zone nearby and I had to check it out. I made my move from Pitneybank as fast as I could and I have to say it's pretty nice here. I have moved into Tynte Mall and I am just looking for supplies now. ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- '''February 14th, 2007'''; I remember when I said it was wonderful here. I lied. I went to go scouting up north of the mall and I saw several undead lingering in the streets, and I decided to take cover in a police station. There were two other survivors inside and I told them they should move to the mall ASAP. They didn't respond and looked like they were in shock so I kept trying to get them to come with me. The zombies busted in and chewed me up. I ran up to the roof and had to jump from building to building (not easy while losing blood) to make it back to the mall. The good folks there patched me up and I feel fine now.
