Some NT tech showed up in my store today and sold me an old notebook full of her poetry. Frankly, I think she should have stuck to the syringe and not the pen, but it may give some insight into the end of human supremacy.

Boarded windows, every street
frightened faces passing by
Will we soon be tasty treats?
Are we all (beat) gonna die?

They aren't here, but we know they will
Be around soon, to eat our brains
We've heard rumors of how they kill
And what happens to the remains

Locked inside this cursed town
They're overrunning block by block
With bullets and mines circling round
It leaves me in a state of shock

I don't think we can go on
Civ'lization falls apart
The conclusion was forgone
It was doomed right from the start

I dunno, I think it'd be better if it were worse. Most of it's not quite bad enough to be funny, which I think was the intention--come on, "will we all be tasty treats?" Personally, I think Yeats already filled this slot pretty well.
