  1. Dupe Too close to this suggestion. Pick one or the other. (My first time voting dupe, I think. WOO!) --Ms.Panes 23:49, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Invalid basis for a dupe. He removed it from voting; or, rather, tried to but didn't know how. I finished the job for him.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  00:55, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Voting rules below state: Dupe, for Suggestions that are exact or very close duplicates of previous suggestions. For a Dupe vote to be valid, a link must be provided to the original suggestion. Rule does not differentiate from suggestions that have completed the voting process and those that have been removed. Idea was previously suggested, link was provided by Ms Panes. Dupe vote is valid. -- Iscariot 01:27, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Ahem. "Look for your suggestion in the following pages to avoid a duplicate suggestion (Use the Ctrl + F function to search for keywords):
1. Previous Days' Suggestions
2. Peer Reviewed Suggestions
3. Peer Rejected Suggestions
4. Undecided Suggestions "
Find Suggestion:20080109_Flavor_Weapons_Logic_Change and I will shut up. It must be in one of those pages to be a valid grounds for a dupe; reread the guidelines.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  01:39, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks so much for reposting the guide to making suggestions. The twelve seconds it took to read weren't all that important to me anyway. However it's completely unrelated, Ms Panes was not making a suggestion, she was voting. If you read the section on voting rules (which you'll notice I copied out for you in my original response) you will see that she followed the procedure for voting Dupe exactly.
So to recap, because I think you need it:
Ms Panes was voting.
Ms Panes voted correctly according to the voting rules.
You decided you didn't like it and dubbed it invalid.
I pointed this out to you quoting the pertinent section.
You responded by posting guidelines relating to making a suggestion that do not apply to Ms Panes' vote.
Are you following?
