Comedy superstar John Beluga was found dead in the 70s after a heroin overdose.

Rock icons Iron Planes made the hotel famous by penetrating a groupie with a fish during one of their raucous tour of Malton.

Music sensation Bethany Shields became one of the hotels only persona non grata for using it as a rendez-vous point with her dealers while fighting for custody of her kids.
