The Crusade of Ridleybank

Beginnings: Excursion III

It started so simple. At the new year, Papa Moloch called the Ridleybank Resistance Front to arms. In his speech he noted the laxness of harman life, how they have grown fat and lazy. The resulting tour of the city, known as Excursion III, was a rolling roadtrip for the RRF. During this time, lasting from January 1st till May 8th, most of the Horde was abroad.

Several months into Excursion, some harmanz snuck into Ridleybank. With megahordes smashing the boundaries of the city, and most of the city red with death, they sought refuge in a unlikely place: Ridleybank . There they set up their base in the infamous Blackmore building.

Local ferals and the few RRF zethern that stayed behind noted this incursion, and kept the visiting harmanz busy. Most of the Horde stayed abroad, and mall after mall victim to the Horde. During this time period more and more harmanz joined the few that first came in, strengthened the harman defenses, and began to spread through Ridleybank.

Opening Engagements

As Excursion III started to wind down, the RRF sent strike teams into the Homeland to check the situation. AuxUnit 10, the Hammer of Barhah, and the GMT Breakfast Club engaged the Harmanz occupying the Blackmore NT building in a serious of brief scrimmages. While each time the harmanz successfully repelled the zombie assaults, they suffered immense casualties. Also during this time, the Horde began the trek back home.

End of Excursion: Battle of Nichol's Mall

On May 8th, 2008, after over four months of Excursion, Papa Moloch announced the official end of Excursion III. Rather then simply bring the Horde home, he called together all zombies Malton wide to join the RRF in Stansbury Village. He noted that Ridleybank is not the home of the RRF, but rather, the home of all zombies. Through the history of the outbreak, many zombie hordes have started in Ridleybank, and many ferals continue to keep vigil of its streets. In Stansbury Village the RRF started the Crusade to liberate Ridleybank with a rapid assault from the RRF.

On that first night members of the zombie strike teams AuxUnit 10, Team America joined with the main horde known as the Department of Homeland Security and the death cultist of the Gore Corps in a rapid attack of Nichol Mall's North East corner. The corner fell within ten minutes of the assault, and the attackers swiftly move onto the North West corner to continue to devastate the unprepared defenders.
