An Idea About Deleted Articles

While starting on another project of mine, I noticed that having all those broken links on the Speedy Deletions and Deletions pages star causes issues, albiet minor ones. Would anyone object to removing the brackets to those headers so they were no longer broken links? --SirensT RR 21:48, 24 April 2006 (BST)

Yes, because as i just discovered, for a moderator, clicking on those links allows them to view the deleted edits, and restore them if needed. --Grim s-Mod 11:30, 29 April 2006 (BST)
>>;; <<;; Um... Well, if someone put one of those pages up for undelete (the only real reason to restore it), wouldn't they provide a handy link to the page right there? --SirensT RR 15:26, 29 April 2006 (BST)
Not likely, since the page wouldnt exist. --Grim s-Mod 03:34, 30 April 2006 (BST)
Template:V_for_Ridleybank is a page that shouldn't exist, as it's been deleted, but I'm sure if can still be undeleted if you have the right url. --SirensT RR 04:38, 30 April 2006 (BST)
True. Also, the fact its a wikilink also lets us know if someone has recreated the page since its deletion, allowing us to determine if it falls under criterion 6 of the page. --Grim s-Mod 07:06, 30 April 2006 (BST)
Hmm....I didn't think of that one. Okay then, I'm for keeping them. I'll just stay away from the Wanted Pages area...it was giving me a headache anyways. --SirensT RR 07:14, 30 April 2006 (BST)
