Overview

Angstronaut was once an astute young explorer, travelling the heavens in search of new worlds and fantastic treasures hidden among the stars. Unfortunately, the young buccaneer was stranded on Planet Earth as a result of the zombie outbreak. He was able to maintain contact with his homeworld, however, and promptly received orders to do all that he can to prepare the planet for a full-scale invasion which his leaders told him was being planned. Angstronaut now spends his days destroying zombie hordes, as well as any potential zombies he happens to find. Though his task is nearly impossible, Angstronaut will try until his last breath to wait for his people to come down to Earth.

History

Angstronaut's arrival on Earth was a complete accident, as a matter of fact. His people had deemed Earth unnecessary and useless, and had completely overlooked it as a source of wealth or resources. As Angstronaut was passing through the quadrant of space in which Earth lies, however, his ship was struck by a small space rock. The space rock punctured 16 of the 20 fuel compartments in the ship's hull, which was one more than enough to cause the ship to sink (or, explode as it were, since exploding is the astronomical equivelant of a ship sinking). Angstronaut knew he only had precious minutes until his ship exploded, so he had to make a crash landing on Earth. Normally, this would be no problem, as Angstronaut was a master mechanic and could fix any problems thrown at him. But throw zombies in the mix and everything goes crazy!

Angstronaut's ship plummetted through the atmosphere, leaving a glorious streak of fire across the sky, heading straight for the outskirts of Malton City. Naturally, the brilliant light drew the attention of hordes of mindless zombies. Nearly every remaining pocket of survivors gazed in awe at the ship's re-entry, but only one group, the JunkyardBandits, were brave enough to explore the crashsite. Armed with only a pitchfork and a metal statue of George Kostanza, a fictional Earth character, a small group of Bandits singlehandedly pushed their way through a horde of 10,000 zombies to make it to the crashsite, where they found our main character, Angstronaut, climbing out of a ship which was overrun with mindless monsters.

Angstronaut and the JunkyardBandits met up, and fought off the zombie horde for as long as they could. Angstronaut had desperately wanted to clear his ship of the zombie menace, but it soon became apparent that if the small group did not make their retreat soon, they would be completely overrun! So Angstronaut reluctantly followed the bandits back to their Junkyard hideout. He promptly thanked every member of the Bandits with his Homeworld's Traditional Sultry Dance. The Bandits naturally accepted Angstronaut as one of their own, and since then he has been a valuable member of the team!

Current Events

Assault on the Malton Zoo Mutant Furries

In the later days of October, when the leaves are all sugary reds and oranges and yellows, a great number of strange mutated humans began to gather at the Malton City Zoo. These mutants, half human and half animals--some were even all animal with human brains--were a grave threat to the community. Their promiscuous ways are very fatal to the morality of society. The JunkyardBandits saw this, and decided the only course of action was to launch a full-scale assault on the mutants of Malton Zoo. The attack was launched on October 31st, 2006, and lasted several days. The Mutants' numbers were too great, however, and all of the JunkyardBandits had caught the flu, so they weren't quite at 100% during the battle. Thusly, the assault was repelled, but only barely. During the assault, Angstronaut was banged on the head and now has amnesia.

Amnesia

As a result of the amnesia, Angstronaut no longer knows who he is or why he exists. He has been filled in on little bits through contact with his home world, and deep down in his heart he has a strong connection with a group known only as the JunkyardBandits, but he does not know where these people are, or how to find them. Currently, Angstronaut wanders around Malton City aimlessly, killing everything he sees, like he is driven by some sort of purpose.
