About the IAHW

The International Axe-Hating week is an event founded, supported, recommended and sponsored by Colette Hart, who has a vehement hatred towards axes. Inspired after eating a large quantity of mushrooms, which were found hidden in a shelf of a store run by hippies, Colette decided to finally face her biggest nemesis: Axes. Since that day, every fourth week of July has been declared the International Axe-Hating week, in which all Axe Haters around the world protest and take actions against fire axes.

Our Creed

  • 1. Axes are not weapons. Axes are not tools. Axes are instruments of barbarism.
  • 2. Axes must be despised.
  • 3. There is no situation where an axe is useful.
  • 4. Fanatic axemen must be considered barbarians, and therefore be despised.
  • 5. All axes must be burned, broken and destroyed on sight.
  • 6. All supporters must make propaganda for the annual International Axe-Hating Week.

Propaganda and actions against Fire Axes

For survivors:

  • Use that radio! Spread the word across all major frequencies! And give it some pizazz!
  • Spraypaint! You should rarely if ever spray the same message twice, but here are some suggestions:
    • Down with the axe! Use something more powerful!
    • Axes are good for nothing! Throw them out!
    • Use guns for zombies, use axe for nothing.
    • 'I don't need this paperweight!' and nailed an axe
    • No more axes! Axes are for barbarians!
  • PKer? Kill a barbarian and give him a speech about why not to use and Axe!
  • Death Cultist? Then overbarricade. New survivors can't get axes if they can't get to them! It's quick and easy, but if the area is rather zombie filled, you might deter an attack.Note: Colette Hart does not encourage this practice and is not responsible if any supporter of the movement uses it.

For Zombies

Make those dumb axes inaccessible to the unenlightened.

  • Ruin. They can't swing what they can't find! Turn zombie for a little while, and decommission the barbarian strongholds. Best when you know you'll succeed, so bring dead friends!
