My name is Varon Augustine Vareth. I've decided to write this diary, starting from 11:44, 18 September 2010 (BST). I don't know if anyone will ever read this, maybe my memories will be lost forever. Who knows...

Entry 1: 11:44, 18 September 2010 (BST)

I'm here in South Blythville, the place in ruins after the Big Bash tore through. Fronting The South Blythville Recovery Effort and DI:MD is hard work, but I think I can manage it. I've repaired a few buildings, hiding in one behind the barricades, but I am scared. At any moment, a Zombie could punch through the barricades and kill me.

I feel like a one man army, almost completely alone in this wasteland. My only company are the dead on the streets, and another survivor who was kind enough to tend to some of my wounds. I forget what her name was, but I'm hoping that I'll be safe with her.

I revived somebody today. They were in Gotch Plaza Police Department. Mostly, I revived them because I needed them out in order to repair the place, but perhaps they could be a friend too...who knows.

I hope I don't die again tonight...

Entry 2: 00:13, 19 September 2010 (BST)

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of the dead smashing at the Barricades. I took to the roof to look around for somewhere new to hide, and saw a Junkyard. I realised that it was impossible to ruin a junkyard so I could barricade the place without it being too obvious. I told the other survivor, Laura her name is, that we should run to the junkyard before its too late. She just seemed dazed and confused, poor thing. I left her there, hoping she would be ok.

Turns out, another survivor was thinking the same as me, the Junkyard was Extremely heavily barricaded when I got there, and there was another survivor. I was so tired, so I decided just to rest. When I woke up, another 2 survivors were there.

It turns out I'm not alone in this effort to recover South Blythville. I headed to Preston, wanting to repair it only to find that it had already been repaired. My friend Paralegal, a member of DI:MD was out the front, but as a Zombie. I quickly made sure to revive him, I hope it didn't hurt too much.

There may be hope in this bleak situation after all...

I've been neglecting my diary lately, I suppose I was so caught up in the action that things seemed so hopeful...How quickly it can all go wrong. I got contact from members of The Cannonball Crew, and so their "Able" Squad, and myself, Paralegal and Chinese all were working hard to recapture South Blythville. Marven and Preston were in our hands, all powered and operational. We even got a radio set up in Preston, tuned it to our DI:MD frequency of 28.38MHz and broadcast, in the hope that maybe we could get more of our members back...Until it went all horribly wrong...

Marven fell first, and then Preston was breached soon after. I revived a Brain Rotted Zombie, my first time ever...quite an experience, and then ran.

I'm sure all my friends are dead...I'm the only one lucky enough to make it out alive...

Why does it have to be so hard to keep people alive?

I found this in my pocket, I can't remember it though. I suppose you loose a lot of memory when you die and are revived...

The whole city seems to be falling apart, I left South Blythville to go to Brooksville, but even there the NT facility fell.

I really wish I could go home...but I don't know where home is anymore. Maybe it's here. Maybe there is no home. I don't know...

Entry 5: 10:42, 4 October 2010 (BST)

I made my way back to South Blythville, I've managed to find a safe spot, and I'm repairing everything else around it. Needle in a haystack =)

I'm studying up about combat, I might be a full on reviving and killing machine soon enough.

But right now, the main concern is stay alive, and bring others back to life. But things are looking promising.
