Captain Jack Harkness

Jack sat at his desk, his fingertips pressed lightly together, his forefinger resting on his bottom lip. His eyes were closed as he lost himself in thought.

"Jack?"

Jack emerged from his thoughts, blinking up at the new arrival to his office; a tall young Welsh man.

"Yes?"

"Sorry to interrupt, but I thought you'd like to know that there's been a mass breakout of zombies in Malton."

"Zombies?"

"Yes. It's unlike anything I've ever heard of."

At these words, Jack lept up from his seat, running out of his office to find his Team working diligently on the level below. He stepped onto the walkway above them and called for their attention and immediately launched into a briefing on the situation.

"Alright Team, let's go." The Team began to move toward the exit but the medic didn't move right away.

"Wait a minute. Jack, you said zombies."

Jack looked at him intently. "Yes, zombies. The Undead. You should feel right at home."

"Oi!"

But Jack was already out the door, the Team hot on his heels.

Torchwood was going to Malton.

Today:

The Torchwood Team continues to work in Malton under the leadership of Captain Jack Harkness. The Team works hard to moniter areas of zombie infestation, keeping survivors as safe as possible under these extreme situations. And the Captain will continue to lead his Team until "these dead heads stay down or the blue box appears..."
