Frank Burn

The story about Frank Burn... A bit more than 30 years ago a boy was born into the Burn family, the name of the boy became Frank Elias Burn. His father was a well known firefighter and when Frank grew up he also went the same path as his father and bacame a Malton firefighter at the same department. Maybe it was the destiny of the Burn boys to be firefighters but Frank always thought that he had to go the same way, not because of a destiny but of a legacy. He swore to protect those who needed his help when he joined up with the other brave men.

Then one day a disaster hit Malton! Frank, his father and the other firefighters at the department (most of them were old childhood friends to Frank) saw the news were they said that people had gone on a crazy killing spree. They could not belive what they saw, people killing people all over Malton. Then suddenly they got a call from a local police department that thay had to go out and start evacuating people. So Frank and the other guys put on their gear and just at that moment a large group of people broke into the department. They did not look healty, almost like thay were dead. One of Franks old friends went forth to talk to them but as soon as he was close enough thay attacked him, and it looked almost like they started eating on him. Frank and the others grabed some fireaxes and started to defend themself. But as they cut down the horde of crazy people more came in through the doors, and even people who already was cut down started to move again. Franks father shouted out that they should get in the truck and leave. So they made a run for it but sadly only Frank, his father and a old friend named Ricko made it.

They left their department and went out into the streets, Franks father who was a deep beliver in christ said something about this being the judgment day when he saw the panik in the streets. Frank never belived in that. They had to stop a couple of blocks away because of a huge roadblock. They steped out of the truck not knowing what to expect. And without notice Franks father fell to the ground, Ricko who was closest grabed a hold of him and said to Frank that his father had a huge bitemark on his arm, Frank turned to look at them and at that moment his father took a big chunk of flesh out of Rickos neck, Frank did not know what the hell was going on. Then his father stod up and started moving towards Frank. Ricko and his father had always been friends so Frank knew that this man wasn't his father anymore. First of all Frank thought that maybe there's a cure. But he knew that he can't risk getting biten, and he can't leave this man roaming the city and killing others. So he took his axe, whiped away a couple of tears and swinged it into the head of the man he had known as his father. Now Frank stood there, all alone. He started to walk away from the truck and the corpses. From here on Frank was a lone wolf trying to survive and help others in need.

Some years later... While trying to hold a building with a couple of other survivors from being taken by zombies, he meet a woman who intruduced herself as Cortonna. She asked Frank if he was intrested in joining a group. But in the Zombie mayhem they got separated. The surviors faild to hold the bulding, and many died. Frank walked around the region helping other people survive, he didn't want another massacre as the one before. And then he saw her again, Cortonna! He didn't hesitate about asking about the group. And it didn't take long before he was a member of Soldiers of Crossman.
