Hmmm

I appreciate the help on M/VB, but you are drawing a lot of attention to yourself. I have talked to some people who think you are a sockpuppet. Why don't you skip over to the suggestions page before diving into the moderator pages? I think that would be best. We really have too much to deal with already, and we know our own rules. Okay? Thanks.--Gage 21:02, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

To much to deal with already? What do you mean? Are you talking about those 3 misconduct case or something because the vandal banning page doesn't look like it has had any particular big spikes of activity as of recent? Did a couple mods go on vaction? Manattack 21:58, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I moved the response from my talk page here. Please respond here. Asking questions is fine. Being curious is fine. Going into the page and directly questioning our judgment, while spamming up the page, when you don't really understand the rules yourself? Priceless Not fine. If you have a question, ask me on my talk page. If you believe a ruling was made in error, go to the talk page of the moderator in question. If you are indeed a sockpuppet (looking at your edits, it wouldn't be a stretch), then the exit is the third door on your left. We have enough people going "OMFG POWER DRUNK MODS R FUKING UP DA WIKI, LAWL" to sort out the curiosity from the bad faith edits. I will assume curiosity on your part, but you are going to have to give me something to work with here.--Gage 22:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
People think I'm a sockpuppet, eh? Don't they know I'v probably been ip checked 15 times already? Manattack 22:23, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
That really doesn't mean anything. You could be the sockpuppet of anyone simply using a proxy or a work computer or something of the sort. Really isn't that hard. If you want them to think you aren't, you should probably stay off the moderation pages for a while.--Gage 22:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm curious, how many times HAVE I been ip checked already? Or is that classified mod information? Manattack 22:35, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
We will just say there is quite a bit of suspicion, okay?--Gage 22:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Is it against the rules to post the ip check history? I emailed my friend who got me into this game asking the same question to you and he posted an old ip check history as of october and back. (saying to be careful because this might get you banned) I can give the link to where he posted but I don't want to get banned. Manattack 22:53, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Link me. You won't be banned.--Gage 22:56, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
He just posted it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Hereyougo_UD Manattack 22:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
So do you know what the deal is with this? Aren't only mods able to access the ip check history, and I'm pretty sure hes not a mod. Manattack 23:54, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
This particular list was leaked about a month ago by a mystery mod.--Gage 07:41, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

No Shit Sherlock

^ Read the title. If I ban his alt, the software would lay on an IP ban too. That would not be cool for him.--Gage 01:09, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

oh whoops, actually I don't think it would ban his ip as long as he doesn't log in from that account again. Manattack 01:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
And the auto ip ban can be removed same way as manual bans, I believe. --Brizth M T 01:12, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
