Please do not place articles about yourself or your characters in the main namespace. If you wish to write about yourself or your characters, the correct place to do it is in your User space (ie User:Phosphur or User:Phosphur/Charactername rather than Phosphur). Formatting

Firstly, there's our Help pages, but they are ether old or incomplete - if you need a specific piece of code, try Quick Reference, although that's probably a bit overkill for what you are asking about. You also might want to have a look at UDWiki:Namespaces and UDWiki:Specific Case Editing Guidelines.

Wikipedia's got far more complete help pages then us wikipedia's help pages are also quite good (although be careful as some of it may be specific to Wikipedia's policies.) Here again, there's also these templates.
