What We Can Do About It!

Caiger Mall was a great thing once. Then as much time passed and its greatness went unchallenged and unquestioned it became something else. All that doesn’t matter anymore, because right now it’s nothing. No barricades stand, no survivors defend it. All the complaints that the Caigerites stayed at home and did nothing don’t matter anymore. All the rumors that they cheated and used bots and zerg don’t matter anymore. The bots and zerg are dead. The stay at home survivors are dead (for now). What’s left you might ask? YOU! You’re left!!

What a Mall Means

The Caiger Mall Survivors became a fixed thing, coasting on its own glorious past. Now it is no longer that, but there is the chance that it could become something else. Because right now, the zombies occupy a mall and several necrotechs, and we have to do something about it. Because when the Mall Tour and the Bash, and god knows how many rookie zombies and flavors of the month swept Malton, there was always Caiger to put them down and remind them of their place. The motto of the CMS used to be “We got your Barhah right here!” but a truer motto could be found in the words of the original declaration that the Survivors at Caiger Mall were now a group: Caiger Mall is where it Stops. It can be that place again if we want it to be.

Time for a Plan

And towards that end the CMS must immediately be restructured into the Caiger Mall Survivors in Exile or whatever name it chooses to use. Until the day the mall is back in Survivor hands. All survivors everywhere are encouraged to put Caiger Mall Survivors in their profiles, whatever their current affiliation, to declare their intent to retake Caiger Mall from the zombies.

Get Together! Get Organized!

Critical to this goal is that those who decide to retake Caiger get organized and quick. Toward this end a reorganization of the CMS into four task groups has been proposed. Caiger Mall NE, NW, SE, and SW. These groups shall have their own leadership and survivors are advised to join one of these groups right away. It doesn’t matter who joins or who leads so long as they agree to the principle of retaking the mall. When the day comes these groups will be making their own timed and coordinated attacks.

Play With Sharp Objects

Also critical is the immediate revival of every survivor in sight. For this reason existing revive points should be working at full capacity and newly revived should be directed to existing safe houses to reprovision for the survivors' return.

The Advantages of Having Friends

The BBB and hundreds more survivors are currently in Ridleybank as part of the November 5th push. This is good. They should continue to barricade Ridleybank and hold out as long as possible. Not because they have any hope of winning the suburb. In all likelihood the best they can expect is to hold it for a time before the zombies call in their largest, best organized groups once again. That’s good. We want those zombies in Central Malton, several suburbs away from Darvall/Chudleyton for when we return to Caiger.

Precedents for Victory!

This is entirely possible as all of us have seen on countless occasions. Blackmore was completely wiped out less than a month ago, every survivor inside killed, as well as the survivors in Nichols, Ackland, and countless other buildings along the way. Yet now, a month later, they’re all reoccupied. Blackmore is as strong as it’s ever been, if not stronger. The other locations become more secure every day. All this happened in less than a month. How many other instances can you think of? How long between the time Ackland fell and its reoccupation at the commencement of the Battle of the Bear Pit? How long between a mall’s being taken by the Tour or the Bash and it being in Survivor hands again? This is entirely within our power again and it can be done within a month.

So revive your friends, gather your bullets, and join a Caiger Mall strike group because this isn’t over.
