Drew Vino

Lost in Malton, Drew Vino found herself having to learn new skills to stay alive - she has a military background but found wielding an axe to be a bit challenging. She has heard that her brother Red is also in Malton but hasn't yet managed to find him. He's a fireman so she's hoping she can be reunited so he can show her how to use her fire axe properly. Drew is quite a simple girl - she likes drinking the beer that she finds amongst all the debris of ruined civilisation and loves joining all the other crazies in looting the mall. She's a bit peeved that the zombies have free reign of the Mall in Pimbank at the moment.

Ed McAltair

A pragmatic doctor whose altruistic ways get the better of him at times, Ed McAltair is generally found scrounging around the ruins of hospitals and directing junior medics - when he's not ranging over the rooftops in search of injured survivors. Ed is closely affiliated with TGV, although he more frequently strikes out alone. He's indiscriminate about who he heals - if you need FAKing, he's ready to help. Evacuated from Sixtus General Hospital, to Shearbank, where he's been helping with the rebuilding and surgery in the three hospitals of that suburb.

Lt K Gridley

Lt K Gridley is a Navy Lawyer caught in the quarantine whilst home on leave. She had stopped off in Malton to do some research for an up coming case whilst on route to her parents when she was stranded. After becoming trapped in Malton she attempted to make contact with the local military but her offer of assistance was refused due to her lack of urban warfare training.

Since then she has busied herself assisting other survivors any way she can, specifically making use of her natural athleticism to free run between buildings in order to build an up to date map of the status of the city. With a number of other survivors she has now begun to help set up a permanent base of operations with a view to creating a safe and growing area of the city for other survivors.

Pte Cooper

Pte Cooper never really got on well during his time in the army, his superiors said that he "Lacked tactical awareness". He now feels that they must have somewhat misjudged him, after all, he is alive in Malton and they are not. Hows that for "Tactical Awareness".

Not the most technically skilled guy in town Pte Cooper leaves the manual work such as barricading and first-aid to the civilians whilst running and gunning the zombies down, he might not hit often but when he does they dont get back up (at least for a while.)

Rupert Daniels

Rupert Daniels is a senior researcher who was working for NecroTech in Malton at the time of the outbreak. He quickly became confused and lost and was soon killed by one of the ramapaging undead. He spent several months shambling around aimlessly before a kind soul revivified him with the new NecroTech serum. Since this time he has become increasingly manic and has a tendency to wander off into the city unaccompanied with no real plan and has fallen to the zombies several times.

He has some medical experience but no real direction in life. He was recently reunited with his son but has since wandered alone into the city once more and no more has been seen of him.

Rupert Daniels II

Rupert Daniels II is a research scientist seconded to NecroTech once the outbreak began in Malton. He agreed to travel to the city to assist in finding a permanent cure for the affliction that causes the dead to rise.

Rupert also has an ulterior mative for being in Malton - his father, Rupert Daniels Sr, was already working for NecroTech in a Malton research facility when the outbreak began. Shortly afterwards contact was broken between Mr Daniels and his family and they began to fear the worst. Rupert hopes that he will be able to find his father while he is working in Malton and being him home safely, should he ever be able to leave the city.

Sgt Helios

Sgt Helios Before the city closed its borders to the rest of the world, Sgt Helios happily worked at her desk in Meyrick Plaza Police Department, Peppardville, ignoring the world and chomping doughnuts, as is the vice of any self-loathing copper. Criminals came in, were processed, chucked in a cell and forgotten about. A daily routine which suited the somewhat unimaginative Sgt Helios down to the ground. The police station was her cocoon. That is, until one day she processed and locked up a particularly grey and pallid looking guy who had been brought in on a domestic violence charge - bit his missus, apparently. Took a chunk right out of her arm. It was whilst musing vaguely at the strange, sick people there were in the world that Helios was called urgently down to the cells, only to find the man had broken through the bars and was emotionlessly chomping on Sergeant Matlock's neck... It took Helios and several other officers to take down the criminal, only to find Matlock had expired. And was getting up again. So began the zombie apocalypse for Sgt Helios.
