Description
The Baylie Library is the oldest library located in the suburb of Rolt Heights. The library was founded in 1907 as an independent member-supported library, which played an important role in defining the cultural, intellectual and social life of Malton back in those days. The library was remarkable for its wide-ranging collections, its wonderful building and, most importantly, the people who knew and loved it. A people that grew fewer and fewer in number as the decades passed. There were few institutions like it in the city at the time. The library's lineage derived in equal measure from ancient European libraries and from early American ideals of self-reliant community service. The Baylie Library was not a public library, nor an academic library, nor a community center, nor a private club - but rather it was a little bit of all these things.

None, it's just a library, but those survivors with enough common sense keep their eyes looking out the windows in search of zombies rather than reading the books found among the shelves. There are some secrets man was never meant to learn and without a doubt more than a few terrible secrets might be found among the library's collection of dusty old tomes and manuscripts. So stay alert, stay sharp, and most importantly, stay sane.

Current Events
April 21st, 2007 - Sadie Mae Glutz of Red Rum killed Maria Mercury in what can only be termed "a cat fight". Well, no not really, but it was a fun thought wasn't it? This murder was brought to you by the Rolt Heights War. Remember, if you want suburb-wide genocide you don't go any further than the RHW.
April 11th, 2007 - Jake4d1 of the Creedy Guerilla Raiders murdered A plagebearer at the library. As with the murder from 2 days ago, this death was attributed to the Rolt Heights War.
April 9th, 2007 - The merciless hand of the Brotherhood of the Reckoning claimed yet another life within Rolt Heights, this time at the library. Knightmonger was reported to have slain veteran survivor Danny Floyd in cold blood. Witnesses later stated their common belief that this crime was linked to the Rolt Heights War.
