  • Towers have no internal descriptions. Some towers, like Lerwill Towers in Greentown, have mobile phone masts mounted on them.

About

Burges towers were built in the 1980s as a place for the workers of Tolman Power Station to live. The old slums where they used to reside were cleared and replaced by the huge concrete structures. The standard of living increased a tenfold because of the towers. The residents now had running hot and cold water, as well as central heating. People living in them jokingly called them the bourgeois towers. However, after the first few years it became clear that living in a concrete appartment block also had its disadvantages.

After the outbreak the catastrophic failure of the Tolman Power Station partly destroyed the towers. Despite the rescue operation many died in the incident. Now survivors still occupy the building. Some try to send signals from it across the border. The WWSIS uses it as a vantage point from where to look for zombies near the plant.

Recent History

Since March 1, 2010 a LURCS transmitter has been placed inside. The tower will be used to inform occupants of the Tolman Power Station of any zombie activity nearby.--Zyckde 18:24, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

As of November 23, 2009, A small Alliance of Fort Creedy Reconnaissance group has occupied the building for outpost and scouting purposes.
