Coss Cinema is a single screen theater built from an old drive-in. It's more like an auditorium now that it is enclosed, rather than a traditional theater. The floor inside is level rather than the normal incline. It has a cement floor that is perpetually sticky even in the off season and the smell of popcorn and engine oil never seem to go away.

===Current Status===
Most of West Becktown is ruined as is Coss Cinema. Also, the popcorn machine keeps burning the bottom layers.

Basic Info:

  • Cinemas are "shrouded in darkness" when unpowered.
  • Cinemas are Dark buildings.
  • In the presence of a fuelled portable generator, a Cinema's flavor text will change to one of the following:
    • "…a black-and-white drama film still looping silently on its main screen."
    • "…a recent horror film still looping silently on its main screen."
    • "…an old horror film still looping silently on its main screen."
    • "…a black-and-white documentary film still looping silently on its main screen."

    • "…a dramatic science-fiction film still looping silently on its main screen."

Description

Coss Cinema is a single screen theater built from an old drive-in. It's more like an auditorium now that it is enclosed, rather than a traditional theater. The floor inside is level rather than the normal incline. It has a cement floor that is perpetually sticky even in the off season and the smell of popcorn and engine oil never seem to go away.

History

Originally constructed as Lush Life Drive-in, it was paired with Lush Auto Repair to serve as a meeting place for car enthusiasts. It had one screen that showed old Elvis movies on the weekend while gearheads compared stereos and exhausts.

In the late 80s the drive-in was enclosed, renamed, and made into a substandard theater. Never really getting the crowds it had as a drive-in, Coss Cinema was forced to close to the public.

In a last ditch effort to keep it from being torn down it was sold to the local high school and used for Driver's Ed classes and metal shop demonstrations.

Barricade Policy

A potential entry to the Lush Auto Repair a source or generators, it should be kept at Very Strongly and below. It is not a source of any equipment beyond items for Role Play and should not have entry restricted beyond what is acceptable to a Level 1 character.
