End of the game

End of the game is a phenomenon in both Malton, Borehamwood and Monroeville where either side of players ceases to exist. This practically means the game is over. In the history of Urban Dead this has officially only happend once; in Monroeville. In Malton and Borehamwood this has never happend.

End of the game in Malton

Since Malton was introduced on July 3rd, 2005, neither side of players has ever ceased to exist. Actually, by the means of brain rot, the zombies can't cease to exist, so the survivors can't actually win the game. The survivors themselves did almost ceased to exist though, when The Dead 2.0 came to Malton. This happend in March 2011.

The near-end in Spring 2011

After The Dead 2.0 came to Malton in March 2011, the number of survivors started to decrease steadily. By May 2011 it had decreased to ~10%, and all green and yellow suburbs had disappeared. Should humanity have ceased to exist at this point then the game in Malton would have come to an end after almost 6 years. The NT Buildings, which are essential for revivification would be ruined, and all the survivors killed. The only way to become a survivor would be by making a new account. Though making a new account doesn't give you the ability to revivify, and it would take at least 100XP to be able to. Which means there would be not enough time to earn the XP, find the needles and revivify another (higher level) zombie before most likely being killed, never to be revivified again. However, the possibility of finding revivification syringes in unlit and ruined NT Buildings was observed during this event limiting the need to repair, power and hold NT Buildings to maintain the survivor population.

End of the game in Borehamwood

The game in Borehamwood started on November 28, 2011. Due to the lack on NT buildings in Borehamwood, revivification is impossible, so in theory it's only a matter of time before humanity is annihilated. Though, that hasn't happened in the past 3 years yet.

End of the game in Monroeville

The only place where the game has officially ended once, is Monroeville. Like Borehamwood, Monroeville has no NT buildings, but headshots take zombies down permanently. Monroeville is the only place where both sides can cease to exist.

The only official-end on June 13th, 2008

The 1st Quarantine of Monroeville is the only game in Urban Dead history that has actually ended, so far at least. It started on March 30th, 2008 and the zombies ceased to exist on June 13th, 2008.

The second, unofficial-end, February 2011

The 2nd Quarantine of Monroeville started on August 15th, 2008. The game never officially ended, but since February 2011 humans ceased to exist, which means victory for the zombies. The only survivors that ever came to Monroeville after said date were survivors that had previously idled out, and were always killed not long after they became active again. Though Kevan has never made any statement about Monroeville's current situation.
