The bottle Factory
Built in 1979, is and was used to make the Maltonian birch beer bottles and to fill them. The production line goes right to the warehouse beside it for packing and shipping to supermarkets and malls.
Three years before the "incident" renovations were made to expand on the original factory line, tripling production, and adding a birch beer clog line, based on the traditional European footwear. This did little to curb its falling popularity as more and more people were drinking real beer instead. It was set to have major layoffs the day after the Malton incident, but you can sometimes see the workers wandering around outside.
