what they mean (and what they don't mean)

BOSS: Can promote and demote CAPTAINS. That's it. No ordering you here or there. No throwing you out of the group. (That takes a vote from the entire group).
CAPTAINS: In charge of a certain area. Captains can recruit SOLDIERS as they see fit. Can call for a vote to dismiss any Soldier that they personally recruited.
SOLDIERS: Under the Captain that recruited them.
