Definition

Operation Roadkill was first outlined by the South West Alliance as an effort to oppose the Tour and strengthen diplomatic relationships among various groups in the south west. Roadkill was conceived in the SWA's Opulent Conference room and officially hatched on Feb 21st, 2009, in the year of Our Lord. The following parameters were outlined.

  • The Mall is indefensible.
  • Hold the Cheeke Necrotech and St. Alexander's Hospital.
  • Maintain a revive point at the wasteland at [19,81]. This is north of Cheeke and southwest of St. Alex.
  • The ruined mall shall provide an entry point.

A Detailed History

Feb 28th: The Calm before the storm

There are 124 defenders in Cheeke, with numbers in the mall "from over 50 to 20 in one corner."

March 6th: Cheeke Falls

The Mall Tour focuses on the Cheeke Building. March 7th: Thompson Mall is Reclaimed

In conjunction with DHDP's Ghost Squad, the mall is reclaimed. Quote: "thanks to you all for coming when you did. we all burned our AP kicking out the squatters and bumping the cades. They started hitting our cades minutes after we got here, and you guys saved that corner."

March 8th: Thompson in zed hands

Barricades and bodies drop. The dead rise up and reclaim their target. A counter-counter strike is planned.

March 9th: Mall Tour moves on?

On their wiki, the Mall Tour claims Thompson crushed and that it is moving on. However the Cheeke building is @ EHB with 12 defenders, Alex Hospital is at VHB, and "plenty of zeds" remain in the area.
