St. Chad's Church [32, 20] is located in the northern section of Eastonwood.

Description

The narrow yellow-stone building split by a large, diagonal crack was one of the many parishes for Malton's Roman Catholics. Like St Marcellus's Church in Shuttlebank it drew its following from the many shelters at Shuttlebank train stations rather than the middle class families of Darvall Heights, who largely attended the nearby St Antheros's Church. In 1985, due to the lack of financial aid from the diocese and the mysterious death of Father Frank Montag, the church closed and became a hideout for the various gangs that took over these abandoned areas in the late 1990s. The building itself was insignificant until after the breakout, when many people turned to such places for shelter before equipping themselves with NecroTech supplies. The first revive point maintained by the PMS Clan, it has since been maintained by a variety of groups since the Clan's disappearance.

History

The church were named after Saint Chad of Mercia, a anglo-saxian abbot and bishop. His patronages include Mercia, Lichfield and astronomers.

Barricade Policy

This building functions as an entrance point and indoor revive clinic, and as such barricades should be maintained at VSB. For more information, please consult the Eastonwood Barricade Plan

Current Status
