Actually, not too long ago syringe search/find rate was actually worse than manufacturing and everyone swore by manufacturing, many players even thought that 20AP to auto find a syringe was too cheap. Not long ago would be something like a year to half a year ago. Not exactly sure when the find rate got increased.--Karek^maps?! 02:33, 7 August 2007 (BST)

Cool, I didn't know that. I'd always assumed that people just realised one day that manufacturing wasn't that good, but looking through the useful items page history it seems that find rates jumped from 6% to 12.4%. It's funny to think that a change like that would never have gotten through the suggestions process, but now that it's here people will defend it to the hilt. --  T   10:48, 7 August 2007 (BST)
