Keep sounds fun. I'm assuming it would not show in dark building descriptions, correct? ~Vsig.png 02:32, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Reply Hm, I hadn't thought about dark buildings. But yeah, that makes sense and it would be a smart way to make holding a baton bear a little less chance of instant death. --A Big F'ing Dog 06:21, 25 July 2012 (BST)
Maybe make it anonymous instead of hidden? "Through the darkness you can make out that someone is holding a blue baton." You wouldn't want it to be completely invisible. Aichon 06:54, 25 July 2012 (BST)
True. And darkness doesn't hide all decoration. Holiday ornaments can still be seen. Perhaps batons should be another exception for that reason, so they all don't vanish. Or maybe there's a compromise somewhere. For example, maybe all batons can still be seen except the black one, because it blends into darkness better. Having different baton behaviors is a bit more complicated than the basic suggestion though and would require a lot more thought. --A Big F'ing Dog 10:08, 25 July 2012 (BST)
I'm indifferent, really. It never quite made sense tome why holiday items could be seen in the dark when nothing else could but as long as that mechanic is in play, no reason why it can't apply here. On the other hand, it would make things more interesting to add some anonymity. ~Vsig.png 16:37, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't want baton possession to be anonymous if you can tell that a baton is there, since then people might attack random players to find whoever has the baton. Ideally if you don't want to deal with batons you should be able to ignore them entirely. So it wouldn't be good to have people not involved with the batons get attacked. So it probably should be fully visible in dark buildings for that reason. There's still an advantage to hiding in a dark building with a baton though, since it makes you more resistant to attack. --A Big F'ing Dog 18:24, 25 July 2012 (BST)
Yeah it would need to be all or nothing. Either its completly hidden from dark building descriptions or it irgnores dark altogether. Like I said, I'm indifferent. ~Vsig.png 19:13, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Vapor, but does it really matter anyway? Kevan has left UD for good... -- Johnny Twotoes 19:20, 25 July 2012 (BST)

There's been one update in the past several years, and traditional annual events are gradually being skipped too. He's phoning it in big time. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 23:34, 25 July 2012 (BST)
