The Sermon

You venture further into the building. You see a man standing before a blood stained altar. He seems to be preaching to what seems to be no one.

"Look upon this city! It is wretched place, full of sinners and blasphemers alike! Most see this infection as an 'accident'. What the nonbelievers do not understand is that it is actually a punishment from the great Cruor! The infection is a holy occurrence to cleanse these streets of sinners! Rejoice my brothers and sisters, for we are the chosen, the ones to cleanse this city of the damned! Those who will not enter the fold will fall to our blades, our bullets, our claws and teeth!

Tenets

The Brotherhood of Blood follows a strict code of tenets that all members should follow without question.

Tenet One: Thou Shall not kill a fellow brother or sister.

Murdering a member of the Brotherhood of Blood will put you at the mercy of the blood council. In most cases you will be permanently expelled and be hunted until you leave brotherhood territory. You also may have a permanent contract placed on you, which will result in those who kill you being rewarded for the deed for as long as you still walk the streets of Malton.

Exceptions will be made when there is a legitimate dispute between members, though the specific functions of these exceptions is up to the Blood Council, or in the invocation of the Brotherly Death policy (see below).

Tenet Two: Thou Shall Obey all orders issued.

If you are given an order from a superior, you will obey it. Disobedience will result in punishment unless the council believes the order was foolish and invalid. If you follow an order which the council later deems invalid or against the Brotherhood, or if the council believes you disobeyed an order out of loyalty to the brotherhood, we will not punish you.

As well, some orders may be impossible for you to fulfill. The council will also address this should you ever be accused of disobedience. Steps may be taken to assist you in carrying out those orders is possible.

Tenet Three: Never dishonor the Brotherhood.

More or less, act respectful even to your foes, and don't break any of the Urban dead game rules and you'll be fine. The actions of 'Text Rape' are forbidden in any and all circumstances and will result in expulsion and a KOS listing. We are not animals.

Tenet Four: Respect you fellow Brothers and Sisters.

Always treat other members of the brotherhood with the utmost respect at all times.

Tenet Five: Never betray the Brotherhood or any of its secrets.

No member may reveal any classified information to an enemy, or any creature outside of the order. Doing so will result in the member being banished from the Brotherhood.

Tenet Six: Abide by all policies of the Brotherhood and respect its beliefs.

These will be detailed bellow. If it is a policy, like a tenet, it must be followed though generally, unless specified, breaking it will not invoke as harsh a punishment. Beliefs are more or less RP stuff which you can choose to engage in or stay out of but you must respect others rights to engage in it and the fact that it plays a role in how the brotherhood functions.

Policies

Hat.jpg Honor Among Thieves
This user or group supports the Honor Among Thieves Policy & finds that PKing is more fun when only innocents suffer.

We Support The HAT policy as we beleive it much more entertaining killing non-pkers than killing pkers.

Gladiatorial Arena.jpg Gladiatorial Arena Policy Supporter
This user or group supports the Gladiatorial Arena Policy & acknowledges that all stadiums in Malton are gladiatorial areas, in which the killing of another survivor is not a crime and therefore not punishable in any way.

We consider this policy to be an excellent way to settle scores fairly and honorably between our members when there is a dispute.

Fine Arts1.jpg Fine Art of Malton Supporter
This user or group supports the Fine Art of Malton movement & acknowledges that all museums are PK ceasefire zones, heal points, and are to be a barricading priority.

Cruor sure loves paintings...

Books.jpg Centers Of Learning Policy Supporter
This user or group supports the Centers of Learning Policy & acknowledges that all libraries, schools, zoos, and museums in the city of Malton are considered safe places. No survivor in one of these locations may be killed for any reason unless that survivor is a specified enemy of this user or group.

We like school, so we decided to support this one.

Sgpicon1.gif Sacred Ground Policy Supporter
This user or group supports the Sacred Ground Policy and acknowledges that all Cemeteries in the city of Malton are considered Revivification Points.

We support the Sacred Ground policy as it enables all seeking revives to be able to be assured that they can get them at a common place, especially if they do not have access to Revive Point lists.

Dual nature.JPG Dual Nature
This User or Group supports the Dual Nature Policy & believes that the citizens of Malton should embrace their two-fold nature.

We Support the Dual nature policy for the most part as it plays very well into how we liked to operate, allowing us to be flexible in our achieving our plans and goals
