Basic Info:

  • A monument is a city block containing a statue or similar piece of public art, without a building in it. It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument.
  • This is, game-play wise, an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.
  • After the July 3, 2009 update, some monuments became tall and can be seen from a distance with binoculars
The Monument to those Officers who fell on Malton's Streets.

Description

You are at the Pearson Monument, a metal obelisk engraved with memorial dates.

Modern in construction, from a distance it appears to be a rusting structure. On closer inspection it is tarnished metal, held together with brightly polished sections engraved with the names of the fallen.

History

The Pearson Monument is the newest of the four monuments in Vinetown. It was constructed to honour those Police Officers who gave their lives for the safety of the public.

Its location next to Ling PD meant it suffered from very few acts of vandalism.
