The Starr Monument
The Starr Monument, constructed in 1942,
is commemorated to a local pilot who died in early 1941, with a total of 23 kills. Not much is known about the pilot nowadays; A block to the east held a library on town heroes, but it was destroyed by flame in 1980. Most records of Ms. Starr (yes, a female) were burned with it. (This block was later turned into the first Wimbridge Boulevard Fire Station) The only facts about Ms. Starr left is that she was a 23 year old woman, unmarried, with no children, liked pineapples, and had a full name of Mary-Anne Jenny DeLario-Starr. A private collector is said to have had large amounts of data on town heroes (and pretty much every other subject to be found in Malton's books) in Houldenbank's Potenger Library; If your brave enough to travel to it, it is currently VSB++.
