Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The Surridge Building is a tall office building in the northwestern part of Yagoton. Neighboring the southwestern corner of Bale Mall, this building have been used as a free running entry point for it since as long as the first few survivors can recall. Because of this well known status in the suburb, the barricade levels are most often maintained at VSB and the corridors are unusually clean of any big obstacle which could prevent a survivor from moving quickly inside the building. As a result very few survivors actually bother to use this building as long term refuge and it has been nicknamed by a chosen few as "The Chicken Chase Building" because of the ease the zombies have to follow a survivor inside once the barricades are down.

Barricade Policy

According to the Yagoton Barricade Plan, this building is to be kept at VSB at all time. Is is a free running entry point for Bale Mall and for the north-west of Yagoton. The nearest revivification point is Harkness Street, one block directly SW.

Current Status

The building has been very strongly barricaded. A portable generator has been set up here. Somebody has spraypainted Fight the Good Fight, join The Abandoned onto a wall. There is a lone zombie at the south at the time of this update. Apparently the radio transmitter has been smashed away judging from past updates.

6/10/2009 You are inside the Surridge Building. The building has been very strongly barricaded. A portable generator has been set up here. It is running low on fuel, and powering a radio transmitter that's currently set to 26.61 MHz. Somebody has spraypainted YRC Entry Point - Keep VSB - Love, The Abandoned onto a wall.--Dr Mycroft Chris 04:09, 11 June 2009 (BST)

Current status is safe. Building have generator, radio and it is very strongly barricaded. (19.6.08 Zero ZZ Zone)
