If this policy passes, moderators/admins/sysops/whatever you want to call them will be given the power to delete certain pages on sight, namely, ones that fit into any of these categories:

Special:BrokenRedirects
Special:Shortpages - I'd like a consensus on what the lower limit should be!
Special:Unusedcategories
Special:Unusedimages
Special:Unusedtemplates - perhaps.
(I'd also like to add criterion 1 (no content), 5 (missed talk page) and 13 (missed sub-page); but I can see people not being as happy with these)

Why? Well, under the convoluted system we have now, someone has to manually list all the pages on Speedy Deletions for a sysop to delete them. Technically, you can't even just link to the special page; which is just madness. If we trust the users to be sysops responsibly, then we should also trust them to be able to delete these without having their every move scrutinised. Even if they do go on a crazy vandal spree with these superpowers, what are we going to lose? Ooh, stuff that shouldn't have been there anyway.
