(Ditched the Apple Wireless Keyboard. It's not bad, but I like to keep my keyboard in my lap, and it's far too small for that to be comfortable. It's also harder to find keys by touch on it.)
(I must've accidentally double-counted one of the semesters where I helped with 650+ students. And, it was 106°F yesterday. I blistered my feet by walking outside barefoot a few weeks ago. No joke.)

I'm an Urban Dead player who first joined the game on August 15th, 2009. Since then, I've made a point of trying to enjoy as many aspects of the game and its community as possible. Towards that end, I've written {{/snazzylink|User:Aichon/Userscripts|userscripts}}, have led or helped to lead some of the top groups during my time, and have generally engaged in the wiki community {{/snazzylink|User:Aichon/Other#Contributions|quite a bit}}. This is the first wiki that I've really gotten involved with, so if you see me making stupid mistakes, clue me in, since I'm still learning. Despite that, on March 26, 2010, the community saw fit to make me a sysop, but when my term was up, I asked for a demotion rather than an additional term as sysop, and was restored to the life of a regular user on November 25, 2010.

In terms of the game, I wanted to experience everything it had to offer, so as you can see by the character list, I have characters in some of the premiere groups of Malton. They all lead separate existences, and a few of them actively fight against the efforts of the others, though they've never met or even gotten close to each other (nor will they ''ever'' do so). Oh, and since they're all separate characters, please treat them as such. Just because my PKer may have ruined your day today doesn't mean that my survivor won't be coming in afterwards to help you patch things together.

I'm a graduate student working on his Masters degree in Computer Science at {{/snazzylinke|http://www.tamu.edu|Texas A&M University}}. I work with the {{/snazzylinke|http://irl.cs.tamu.edu|Internet Research Lab}} (IRL) doing...stuff. Mostly related to web crawling, but my interests incorporate several other areas as well related to the Internet and networking. I've worked in the space industry with subcontractors for NASA (e.g. Lockheed Martin Space Operations), but am currently employed as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for various undergraduate courses, and have had the privilege of assisting professors in teaching around 3000 students in the time that I've been a TA.
I'm a software developer in College Station, Texas, USA, but am working on finishing up my Masters degree in Computer Science at {{/snazzylinke|http://www.tamu.edu|Texas A&M University}}. My research mostly pertains to web crawling, though I have interests in a few other areas. I've interned with various subcontractors for NASA (e.g. Lockheed Martin), and did a stint for four years as a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M, where I had the privilege of assisting the professors in teaching over 2300 students in numerous programming languages and over a variety of subjects.

To cut off the obvious questions, no, I will not help you troubleshoot your computer. I use and love my Mac because it lets me get work done without dealing with the crap that Windows users put up with or the hassle that Linux users deal with. You guys are on your own.
To cut off the obvious questions, no, I will not help you troubleshoot your computer, nor will I design your wiki page for you. I use and love my Mac because it lets me get work done without dealing with the crap that Windows users put up with or the hassle that Linux users deal with. As for design, it takes me way too long to make things ''not suck'', so I try to avoid it. That said, if you run into a technical issue and put in some serious effort trying to figure it out, I'm usually up for helping people get over those sorts of hurdles.

I've lived on all three of the major coasts in America, so my exposure to cold temperatures is pretty limited. In fact, the place I'm living at now, College Station, Texas, is the furthest inland (around 150 miles), the highest elevated (about 300 feet), and the coldest place (average lows in Winter are in the 40-50°F range, but do dip into the 20s or even teens sometimes) I've ever lived, strange as that may sound to most people out there.
I've lived on all three of the major coasts in America, in each case in the southern half of the country, so my exposure to cold temperatures is pretty limited. In fact, the place I'm living at now is the furthest inland (around 140 miles/225 km), the highest elevated (about 360 feet/110 m), the coldest place (it'll get below freezing a few times each winter), and the hottest place (we routinely have highs over well 100°F/38°C each summer) I've ever lived, strange as that may sound to most people out there.

Otherwise, I guess I could point out the fact that I am a Christian that holds pretty traditional/conservative values in terms of most of the controversial issues. For some reason, this tends to surprise people. Go figure.
