My Book
This book is entirely written (except this short intro to the intro itself), IN CHARACTER. It will never cease to be a work in progress, and will continue on till the end of my days in Urban Dead. I hope you enjoy my writings.
Introduction
Perhaps the greatest question a man has to ask himself, is why? Why do I continue on? Why do I have to live with this? Why do I exist? I find it a paradox each time I find myself asking, why? My memoirs and recollections here will forever remain eternal, Amen. Despite my constant ramblings, I find that writing soothes the soul, spirit, and pleases the Gods. My path along the Beam will forever be full of awe and wonder. I Thankee Sai for taking time to read my lamentations and adventures.
Chapter One
The Way of the Gunslinger
- The Way of the Gunslinger is defined in one word: Honesty. It is taught from a young age that in order to not forget the face of one's father, you must always be honest in all things you do. Whether the act be trivial or of grave importance, always remain true to oneself, and one's family name. Shame is the worst death of all, as all failed 'slingers can attest to. The idea behind this, is that in life, honor takes precedence over all things. This fact has proven true throughout history, and will always remain so.
Ramblings on Ka
- Ka. The mysterious force that drives everything. Fate, as these people seem to call it on this plane of existence. Ka is what binds us to what we are, and who we strive to be. Without Ka, the ever spinning wheel, we may be forever lost in the ever changing ways of the Dark Tower. The Dark Tower alone is a unique and everlasting plane of enlightenment and connection. Without such spiritual and physical anchor, the multi verse as we know it would collapse and we would be destroyed down to our atoms. This, is not a good thing.
