Synopsis

To be removed, it looks like there is less monuments in Malton than planned scans. Binoculars were just first stupid idea. Check for pillars in description.

Inspired by Gnome's search for 3D cinemas, this project intent to discover all Tall Monuments in Malton. This can be done using Binoculars. Size of scanned grid is 7x7, but there is also blind spot in the center of size 3x3. Probably the best way to do this, is to scan by rows. There will be 15 rows to scan, as for cells to counter blind spot scans will be done like this:

XOOXOOOXOOXOOOX

where, letters are representation of blocks on the map, X means scan, O means skip.

This means that there will be 30 blocks to scan in each row, whole map will take 450 scans to complete. I intend to start from NE corner of Malton.

How to help

Let me know if you're interested using talk page. I can create link to DSS map with row you're interested in.

Status

This is very simple way to keep track of scanned blocks, numbers are just coordinates on map. There are also links to DSS map with selected blocks to be scanned.

Use strike to mark scanned blocks.
