There's an odd sensation in the air. A kind of pleasant lightheadedness. We've been so bored lately. I've retired, but there's nothing that says a retired person can't return to the workforce for a bit. Awhile back I left the show, But didn't really want to go. I had things to do and places to see, It feels so good to be free. Still, sometimes I'll join the audience, As long as none take offense, To watch my comrades play. Perhaps I'll join them again someday. Until then, I'll quietly admire, Those who chain themselves to no sire. Once my friends, still in the show, Staining red, the once white snow.
