Lieutenant General Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov (Russian: Михаи́л Тимофе́евич Кала́шников, Mihail Timofeevič Kalašnikov) (born November 10, 1919 in Russia's southern Altai region) is a Russian small arms designer, most famous for designing the AK-47 assault rifle. Traveled to Malton, after becoming stricken with guilt and sadness when his namesake became an icon of terrorism, in an effort to redeem the glory that his rifle once had.

After his arrival Kalashnikov told Malton Public Radio, "I've always wanted to improve and expand on the good name of my weapon by doing good things. So immediately after learning about the outbreak in Malton I grabbed my AK and got on the next flight out of Izhevsk." However Kalashnikov could not travel with ammuntion and figured he would pick up a case or two when he arrived. Little did he know Malton city council banned assault rifles within city limits after the Kinch Heights Massacre in 1998. He was disapointed but not discouraged. He decided to head into the city alone, to aid those in need and improve his English along the way.

Being on his own in the city proved difficult for Mikhail. He wandered aimlessly, killing Zombies with what he considered sub-par pistols and shotguns scavenged from around the city. He kept his personally built AK with him as a sort of a good luck charm, though it remained empty and unused. He bolstered his English communication skills talking with other survivors he encountered around the city; he learned how to operate Necrotech lab equipment and reinforced and strengthened his aging body. His physique now matched his prowess. However he had trouble relating to apathetic or overly cynical survivor groups and began to hit the potato wine. He had trouble getting back into safehouses before passing out on a sidewalk or park-bench. Eventually he was discovered by some feral zombies and chewed upon. He awoke to unlife tore around the city in a rage attacking zombies and survivors alike, he would sometimes lurch to a graveyard and be revived, though it was only a matter of time before he found more Vodka, got lit up and was back on the streets. This continued until early 2010.

After a 3 year drunken torpor Mikhail was roused by none other than St. Andrew, the patron-Saint of Russia. As St. Andrew discarded the used revivification syringe he spoke in a profound, sonorous voice:

"Mikhail! You must not dally in drunken, zombified wanderings. The life of a careless drunk and an undead hoodlum is not your path, everyone knows the zombies have it easy. You must render judgment in my name, aid those in need, and smite those in need of smiting. Protect the few cultural and historical relics remaining in Malton and do not allow sophomoric dalliances to go unpunished. The role of a Survivor is labyrinthine, an unending test. Do not let the Brainless Hordes overtake Malton!!"

With that St. Andrew disappeared into the nearest Necrotech building. Mikhail arose a new man. He struck out on his own, refueling sputtering generators, healing those of merit, barricading where necessary and striking down Morons and Knuckleheads wherever they tread. After becoming fed up with Malls and thier denizens Mikhail decided to render no aid to Mallfolk and thier kin. File:Mikhail In Mall.JPG

Not a Zed Spy I killed him cause I figured he was a Zed Spy. He killed me back. It was really none of my business killing him considering that he was in a Mall. Don't know what I was thinking.
