The time is blank. I cannot recall much from the incident that took place

From what I remember there were many prisoners screaming for my help as my daily routine of providing medical care was interrupted instantaneously.

The cells were broken into as I hid inside a garbage can filled with used wound dressings while wearing a medical mask and surgical gloves to prevent my own contamination.

These creatures broke in, scraped at the flesh of the inmates like rabid dogs through locked cell doors at the police department..

I managed to run during the screaming, to dodge the violence and avoid my own demise.

This madness (I wondered) Must have a cause, a reason to exist! But it was too late to think as I continued to run for my very life.

Hallways filled with animated corpses of prisoners, volunteers, visiters, officers, guards and staff that were dying coming back to life.

The police officers experience on the streets could not prepare them for this.

So I fled, escaped my own fate, now left looking for others and answers to this madness.
