This isn't a giant wall of text of my entire history in game, just a few paragraphs to illustrate how I started and became who I am in-game.
Started UD in November 2008, played around for a month as a survivor and a zombie on various characters.

Joined Pole Mall Security in Feb 2009, in reaction to the imminent threat of Mall Tour '09.

Joining in the closing days of 2008, I alternately ran and shambled around various suburbs before deciding on Kempsterbank as a likely candidate to settle in.  This proved to be a sound choice, as KB is (all too frequently) green and safe.  Unfortunately, it's also boring, as it's near the edge of the map and the wars tend to pass it by.  Fortunately, before boredom overtook me, the 2009 Mall Tour showed up in Malton.  With Pole Mall directly south of Kempsterbank, it didn't take a genius to figure out that the zeds would spill over into Kempsterbank when they arrived.  Since fighting on without a specific cause or banner didn't appeal, I started to cast my eyes around for a group to join.
Helped coordinate the defense of Pole Mall for nearly a week, until Mall Tour managed to get (and maintain) a beachhead in the SE corner.

I considered the Knights Templar, and just as quickly rejected them.  All respect to them as allies aside, the KT have bitten off a lot more than they can chew in terms of defending the entire 'burb.  Plus, their weird formal hierarchy and tendency to roleplay turned me off.  Yes, this is a game where we play as humans and zombies in a post-apocalyptic city, but my psyche can't accept people who want to run around pretending this is London".  So I looked south and joined the new organization that was forming to defend Pole Mall, Pole Mall Security.  If you want to know about that group, click the link; they are security for Pole Mall and area, enough said.

The siege of Pole lasted approximately a week, with around five days of high-intensity fighting around the clock.  While no survivor group is large enough to defend a mall by itself, PMS and its allies played a significant role in keeping the barricades up, passing along intel over the radio, and coordinating survivor strike forces to liberate NTs.  Eventually though we were overrun.  I mention the defense only because out of all the malls, Pole held out the longest.

In the aftermath, when the MT moved on, I helped to put the 'burb back together, retake the Mall from the feral army still lurking inside, and evict any lingering remnants of Mall Tour.  Amongst the ashes, I found a purpose: <s>to crusade for peace, justice, and the American way!</s> defending buildings under siege and hunting PKers.  It's not glorious work, it's almost never laudatory since randoms don't appreciate that you keep them alive every night, and it's constant bloody business since there are always break-ins, parachutists, and PKers.  But I enjoy it, it's what I do, and I'm always ready to kick in the door of a PKer hideout or zombie nest when I find it.  Thanks for reading, and I'll see you around, on one side of my gun barrel or the other.

"We find the building with the thickest walls and strongest doors and we barricade ourselves in, sit tight, wait for help." ~Peyton Wells

Status

Currently a member of Pole Mall Security.

Current situation: No major threats to the mall, so I'm amusing myself by hunting down PKers, GKers, and death cultists.

History

Started UD in November 2008, played around for a month as a survivor and a zombie on various characters.

Joined Pole Mall Security in Feb 2009, in reaction to the imminent threat of Mall Tour '09.

Helped coordinate the defense of Pole Mall for nearly a week, until Mall Tour managed to get (and maintain) a beachhead in the SE corner.

Randomness

If Malton was serious about the zombie epidemic they'd be burning the bodies. "Oh hey let's shoot him even though he's already dead, and then walk away from the body just like we did the last time he died!" ... No. Kill it with fire!
