The Complex

The Kirby Complex was first named as such by the 92nd Response Unit while they used it as a rendezvous point after an operation. It is a grouping of tactical resource points and other buildings that, unofficially, have been joined together to provide an area of supplies and safety for survivors in the Northeastern suburbs of Randallbank and Huntley Heights. It is made up of at least five buildings.

Barricade Policy

The Junkyard is to be maintained EHB at all times. No running generator or radio transmitter is allowed, as the junkyard is meant as a fallback position. The Kirby PD 1N should be EHB, and powered by a running generator, to ensure higher search rates. Littlehales NT 1E should be EHB with gennie at all times to provide a suitable source of syringe search rates.

Hospitals

The Complex contains two hospitals, Simeon General Hospital and St Columbanus's Hospital. These buildings, vital for providing the city's survivor population with medical attention and FAKs, are right next to each other, giving the Complex a healthy existence. Both Hospitals are located in the northern region of Randallbank.

Police Departments

While the hospitals provide the Complex with the ability to preserve life, its police department give it the ability to fight those who seek to destroy life. The namesake Kirby Boulevard Police Department provide the Complex with all of the ammo, guns, flare guns, and body armor that the Complex's residents and visitors could possibly desire. Kirby PD is in the southern-most part of Huntley Heights, and hence is the only true part of the Complex to reside outside of Randallbank.

Necrotech Buildings

The NT in Kirby Complex, the Littlehales Building, provides survivors with a source of revivication syringes. It's importance is greatly increased by the fact that it is the only NT building in Randallbank.

Revive Points

There are two revive points servicing Kirby Complex, located at Kingdom Park [64, 30] and Staite Plaza [63, 31]. If you need a revive, you will most likely have shorter wait times at one of these designated points.

All survivors are asked to DNA scan any zombies at these revive points as rotters have been known to stand in line to avoid being killed - if rotters are found, they should be killed immediately.

Other Buildings

The only other building that belongs to the Complex without a doubt is the a junkyard. While not important by itself, it does provide a route in the middle of the complex for those capable of using the elaborate bridge system connecting the buildings.

Extensions?

There are a number of buildings one can consider to be part of the Complex if one is willing to extend the Complex's borders beyond connected tactical resource points and buildings that connect them. 4 blocks South of the Littlehales NT are 2 auto-repairs, providing a source of fuel cans. 2 blocks South of St Columbanus's is Martin General Hospital and Gillett Place PD. Free running routes exist between Kirby Complex and these buildings, via the Brimblecombe Arms.

Significance

The Complex provides both suburbs with a useful substitute for a mall, something neither of the suburbs have. Should either suburb fall under heavy attack it is extremely likely that the Complex will become a hotspot of activity.
