Neutral Point of View The Darvall Heights Police Department is biting social commentary on the tactics of some survivor roleplayers. End of Neutral Point of View

Darvall Heights Police Dept.

Welcome to the home of the Darvall Heights Police Dept. The suburb of Darvall Heights is an up and coming community!

Watch us Grow!

A Letter from the Chief

Staff Liquidations. Due to budget cuts we have to inform any Refugee from Dunell Hills PD that their services are no longer needed. They have 24 hours to turn in their badges and vacate. The penalty for impersonating a police officer in Darvall Hts. is death. Leave your guns and donuts on the table please.

My faithful Darvall Heights Officers:

Many of you are concerned about the rumors floating around about possible lay-offs due to Caiger Mall falling to the Zombie Hordes and the fact that the tax base in Darvall Heights can not support two fully staffed police departments since we took on the Dunell Hills Recruits.

It's a little known fact that Caiger Mall is actually property of Chudleyton since the corporate offices are located in the NW corner. When the mall was proposed the owners declared that if it was not considered Chudleyton property (due to their lower tax rate) they would withdraw plans. Our city elders at the time conceded and agreed that the run off revenue from the traffic would be enough. Besides, malls are nothing more than trouble properties with a Banana Republic and Subway Sandwich shops when it comes to police work.

Rest assured, my fearless veterans of Darvall, your jobs are completely safe. We are in the process of sifting through the applications of the Dunell Hills police officers and considering adding a few of them as reserve officers. However, we truly hope that they can one day return to their "lovely" suburb and we can return to our normal operations.

While I understand that zombie hordes can not be negotiated with we hope that the other DHPD would be willing to swallow their pride and ask for the assistance of our truly experienced Police Dept. We would be willing to discuss terms to help them regain their land. As soon as we locate their Chief's hiding spot we will attempt this. If anyone spots a Dunell Recruit please be "kind" to them and tell them they can contact me here.

I ask that my officers stay away from Caiger until the crisis is over and as always, be careful out there.

Chief DCC

History

Darvall Heights Police was founded in 1999. The police have never deserted the fine citizens of the Heights no matter how bad the zombie threat became.

Stations

The main station is Crossman Grove Police Station located in the scenic northern Darvall Heights. Our elite forces are based out of that station. Search and Rescue teams, Hostage Recovery, Negotiation, and if need be "Zombie" Assassination Squads train there regularly.

Halse Crescent Station is our investigative wing. Drug Cartel needs to be brought down? Underground sex slave ring kidnapping teen boys to take to Dunell Hills? Illegal Fireworks smuggling? All of these are cases cracked by our top notch detectives.

Taylor Lane Station is for our veteran officers. Their years of experience and wisdom in the war torn streets of Malton have earned them the respect of our citizens. Most of them are highly decorated and have been injured in the line of duty. We hope that they inspire all of our officers with their dedication and skills.

The newer inexperienced and hot headed rookies are sent to Caiger Mall. We hope that a few years of dealing with unruly teens and minor car accidents in the parking lot will straighten them out. We send all of our retreads (officers from other departments) to that detail to "re-train" them and break their bad habits.

Internal Memo RE: Recent Changes in the Force

Darvall Heights believes in serving and protecting the public at all costs. We take it to the next level. We have absorbed the politically corrupt and inept refugees from the Dunell Hills Police Department.

It was a difficult decision to absorb them into our fold, what with the complete destruction of Dunell Hills at the hands of a few measly zombies. However, they have a spunky "Never say Die" nature and their uniforms already say DHPD. Besides, they cried and begged and wouldn't stop whining.

Hopefully, after a few years of proper training they will become real cops and not just glorified Mall Security.

We look forward to this!

Please try to make the newbies feel welcome. You may have to speak slowly and draw simple pictures to communicate with them, but don't anger them. They may possess tard strength and some of them have real guns. So, watch your backs around them.

They're doing a wonderful job calling the local schoolyard their home. They do us proud and perhaps one day they might integrate into our group. I don't think Dunell Hills is worth retaking.

Upcoming Operations

Things are in the works for the DHPD. Officers should report to the SWAT training grounds Junkyard 23,24 for briefing.--DCC 11:39, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

DHPD has ties with a known PK group, yet they themselves have not committed to that lifestyle.
